There’s a misconception that the continent of Africa is a place of starvation, poverty, and lack. On the contrary, I found out that was not the case. Visitng the country of Nigeria, my mother and father’s native land, I have learned that Nigeria, as well as all of Africa, is a thing of beauty, poise, and well-being. Showing the slums of various countries in Africa, is like showing the slums of Washington D.C. You see a partial picture of a nation and not the real deal. And this my friend is the real deal of Lagos, Nigeria.
